The manual tranny becomes harder and harder to drive the faster that you get, you probably realize that. The clutch probably becomes a source of inconsistency also at this level. An auto tranny would probably be quicker on average, giving up a few mph, but making it up, plus some, with the 60ft. That's my guess.......problem is that converter selection is limited, and the stock auto tranny does not appear to be "raceable" for a reasonable amount of cash, nor is it reliable at that level. I might also point out that your mph is all over the place, which someone once argued does not happen. Not attacking you, just illustrating for others...
